A section of the roof at Hawkesbury Little Theatre urgently needs replacing before further damage puts our community space at risk.

Initially we want to raise funds to repair the roof and prevent any further damage to our theatre but the overall aim of the fundraiser is to enable us to replace the whole roof which will completely future proof for the future.

Buckley Theatre Club has been at the heart of our community for generations. Hawkesbury Little Theatre isn’t just a building, it’s where friendships grow, confidence is built, and children and adults discover a love of performing.

Our annual Christmas pantomimes are a highlight of the year for thousands of local residents and often sell out, showing just how much this little theatre means to local families.

But right now, we’re facing a serious challenge.

A section of our roof has deteriorated and requires urgent replacement to prevent further water ingress and damage to the building. This essential work will help protect the theatre while we continue planning and fundraising for the longer-term goal of replacing the entire roof (total cost 30k)

After COVID-19 left us with no income for two years, essential maintenance had to be put on hold. As a result, parts of the roof have deteriorated significantly, putting our costumes, props, equipment, and the building itself at risk.

We’re asking for help from our community, supporters of the arts, former performers, local businesses, and anyone who believes small community theatres matter.
