Please Help to Save Our Home
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,
I’m reaching out with a plea for help. My dad, a 67-year-old veteran of the Marine Corps, is currently in a psych ward, receiving care after several suicide attempts. He has been struggling profoundly since the loss of my mom in April 2023. His home—my childhood home—is now on the brink of being condemned as a biohazard.
The house, once a place of family gatherings, has fallen into serious disrepair. There are blood stains in the home—they are painful reminders of a grim situation. Without urgent intervention, we risk losing not just a house but a piece of our family’s history. Worst of all, my father now faces homelessness.
We need your help to:
1. Clean and Decontaminate: Professional cleaning is needed to make the house safe and habitable again.
2. Repair and Restore: Address any damage and necessary repairs to ensure the house is structurally sound and livable.
3. Preserve Memories: Recover and protect important family keepsakes and documents still in the home.
The costs for these services are significant, and I’m struggling to cover them on my own. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us make this house a home once more. Restoring this home will not only provide my dad with a stable place to return to but also offer him some hope in his darkest times.
Your generosity will mean more than words can express.
Please consider donating and sharing this message with your network. Every bit of help brings us closer to saving our family home and giving my dad a chance to rebuild his life.
Thank you deeply for your compassion and support.
