Hello! I am a member of Stafford Grange No. 1 in Stafford Springs, CT, and this fundraiser is to help cover the cost of extensive repair and maintenance work that is needed to preserve our 100+ year old Grange Hall. Stafford Grange No. 1 is a wonderful historic building located across from the Mill Pond Store in Staffordville, CT. Its charm adds to the picturesque rural feeling of this part of our town of Stafford.

Our historic Grange Hall is in dire need of some very costly repairs and maintenance work which we are currently unable to afford. This work includes having the building's roof completely redone, the cost of which was quoted to us as $20,000. Any and all help with covering these costs will be hugely appreciated.

The Grange is an organization that promotes community service and activities which allow families to provide support and lifelong friendship to other members of the organization and the community at large. We strive to create a community network of farmers, craftspeople, gardeners, and families all working together to support, learn, and grow as one.
