For years, the men and women of the Dallas Selfville Volunteer Fire Department have answered the call day or night, holidays, storms, and emergencies---without pay, because this community is our home.

Right now, we're facing a reality we never thought we'd never have to share; without immediate financial support, our department may be forced to close its doors.

Rising cost for equipment, maintenance, training, and insurance have outpaced what our small department can afford. We've cut every expense possible, but we're at a breaking point.
