Help Save North Port Art Center's Legacy

At age 80, I find myself the volunteer President of the North Port Art Center, which is facing the demolition of the buildings where it has provided arts education for the past 17 years. I'm optimistic that with the support of art lovers in Florida and around the country, the NPAC can built a new, dynamic art center to meet the growing needs of this amazing Florida community.

This small art center has had a dramatic impact on the lives of youth, seniors and Veterans. The "heart" of the NPAC began with a small group of artists forming the North Port Art Guild in 1988. Although I'm not an artist, I love the arts; my grandkids love arts programs.

Help me keep ART in the "heart" of all individuals who live in and who visit the North Port community. Support my 80th Birthday campaign to raise at least $8,000 to hire a civil engineer to form the foundation of a new NPAC.
