I’m reaching out with an urgent and heartfelt plea to help my grandparents, who have been married for 50 years. For the past 43 years, they’ve built a lifetime of memories in their home—a place filled with love, laughter, and countless family gatherings.

Family means everything to my grandpa. Every time I see him he says, “family is everything.” Every summer, they open their home to loved ones, hosting Fourth of July and Memorial Day picnics, inviting neighbors and friends to enjoy the day by their pool. No matter how little they had, they always made sure others felt welcome, creating a space where everyone felt like family.

Now, they are facing an unimaginable situation. Their home is being sold out from under them by a family member they trusted as their realtor—despite the fact that they have always paid their rent on time. There is no reason this should be happening to them. My grandpa is 73 years old and retired, and they don’t have the savings to fight for their home. They are devastated, heartbroken, and unsure of where to turn. Their home isn’t just a place to live—it’s their safe haven, their history, and the heart of our family.
