Help Save Renata — A Sweet 3-Year-Old Fighting for Her Life After a Devastating Accident
On December 7th, our world changed in an instant.
Three-year-old Renata Sotelo Arizmendi, a beautiful, innocent child full of joy, light, and love, was accidentally run over by a vehicle in Mexico. In just seconds, her tiny body suffered injuries no child should ever endure.
And yet, through all of this pain, Renata is fighting. She is holding on.
Her Injuries Are Severe and Life-Threatening
Renata is currently suffering from multiple critical injuries, including:
• A fractured femur
• A completely open pelvis
• Internal abdominal trauma
• Acute kidney failure
• The need for a catheter going directly to her heart
• Ongoing scans to identify internal bleeding and organ damage
• Multiply surgeries
She is in a fragile and dangerous condition — every hour matters.
The Hard Truth: Medical Care in Mexico Is Not Like the U.S.
In Mexico, hospitals do not provide treatment first and bill later.
They require payment upfront before performing major surgeries or life-saving procedures.
Renata’s family has already been asked to make large deposits just to begin essential treatment, and because the money was not available immediately…
Her surgery has already been delayed.
This is the most painful reality of all:
If her family and friends cannot raise the funds, Renata simply will not receive the treatment she desperately needs.
There is no insurance to step in.
No hospital charity program.
No financial safety net.
The only thing standing between Renata and the care that could save her life is money — and the compassion of others.
Why We Are Asking for Help
Renata’s mother is terrified. She is watching her little girl suffer, knowing that every minute counts, and knowing that without financial help, doctors’ hands are tied.
This fundraiser is the only way to make sure Renata receives:
• Emergency stabilization
• Pelvic and femur fixation
• Continued scans and monitoring
• Intensive care
• Medications
• A transfer to a higher-level pediatric hospital
How Donations Will Be Handled
All funds will go into a dedicated account for Renata’s medical expenses.
Her aunt Jackeline Ramon and I will be responsible for making sure every dollar will go directly toward her surgeries, treatments, transport, and recovery.
You Can Help Give Renata a Chance
Renata is just three years old. She has her whole life ahead of her. She deserves the chance to grow, to play, to laugh again — to return to the light she brings into this world and spend time playing with her cousin and friends.
Your donation — no matter the amount — will directly help save her life.
And if you cannot give, please share her story and keep her in your prayers.
Thank you for standing with this family during the darkest moment they have ever faced.
Thank you for helping us fight for Renata.
