Obaida is a 17 year old boy from Gaza who dreams of being a psychiatrist. He has been surviving the genocide in Palestine and helping provide for his family. The situation in Gaza is very bad and it is hard to find food, water or shelter.

When Obaida can find food the prices are very high. He often has to go to the incredibly dangerous GHF aid sites and has witnessed many people being martyred.

In addition to trying to survive famine, Obaida has caught hepatitis A. This is a very infectious liver infection that is surging in Gaza. To deal with the symptoms of this disease he has to buy pain medication, anti nausea and anti histamines.

Obaida is such a lovely guy and he should be at school with his friends. Not living in a tent, struggling every day to find food and water.
