For many years, Hinstock Youth Club has provided a safe, welcoming and inclusive place for young people in our village to meet friends, build confidence, learn new skills and take part in positive activities close to home. The club is run by local volunteers and supported by a qualified youth worker from All About Youth, ensuring that sessions are safe, engaging and beneficial for local young people.

Like many small community organisations, the youth club now faces a significant funding challenge. The club operates on an annual budget of around £7,300, but regular income from fundraising, tuck shop sales and Parish Council support generates only around £2,300 per year, leaving a funding gap of approximately £5,000 that must be found through grants, donations and sponsorship.

Without this funding, the future of the youth club beyond April 2027 is at serious risk. The largest cost is the provision of a qualified youth worker, which is essential to maintaining the high-quality support and activities that local young people rely upon.

We are actively pursuing grants and have recently submitted an application to the Edward & Dorothy Cadbury Trust. Alongside this, we are organising local fundraising activities and seeking support from businesses and residents. However, we cannot do it alone.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us:

Hinstock Youth Club is more than just a weekly activity. It is a place where young people make friends, gain confidence, develop resilience and feel connected to their community. In a rural village where opportunities can be limited, this support is more important than ever.

If you are able to help, please consider making a donation and sharing this page with friends, family and local businesses. Together, we can help ensure that Hinstock Youth Club remains a thriving part of our village for years to come.

Thank you for your support.
