Help save BAR FIFTEENS Gemma

Hi my name is Morgan, me and my family use to own Bar FIFTEEN IN LOUGHTON and Gemma was one of our finest barmaids, blonde and beautiful and she needs all our help,  We need to raise 10k asap to help her get the treatment she needs to fight the severe cancer she’s dealing with. Please please Please help us.

After her second routine smear test came back abnormal in October 2019 Gemma had more tests and in January 2020 was diagnosed with ‘early stages’ of Cervical Cancer. 

By June 2020 it had gone into her lymph nodes and became Stage 4 Incurable Cervical Cancer.

In the last 17months she has had various surgeries including a full hysterectomy along with aggressive 8hr infusions of chemotherapy and also daily radiotherapy which she says we’re the worst few months of her life due to how poorly she was. 

In January this year her scans showed that the lymph nodes had ‘gone to sleep’ so she didn’t need anymore treatment. 

Over the next few months she  was recovering really well and getting her life back on track, she had started yoga again which is one of her passions and had also started a yoga teacher training course which she had been trying to fit into her life for a while but hadn’t had the time to do it. She was even getting ready to go back to work in July as Head of Department and Florist on Superyachts….looking forward to floating around the world again. 

In April she had her 3 month scan which came back showing lesions on her liver, a few weeks later the lesions were confirmed as the same cancer she had just recovered from which meant it was awake again and spreading. This required another surgery which due to complications put her into intensive care so her recovery was very tough and slow. 

During this time Gemma developed severe back pain which was originally put down to not being as mobile as she usually is and from resting a lot to recover, from more scans this was recently diagnosed as Malignant Psoas Syndrome….caused by the cancer spreading to the Psoas muscles. 

Gemma began weekly Chemo again this week to hopefully control the spread, her oncologist has discussed Immunotherapy with her which isn’t available on the NHS…..but it is available privately at an extortionate cost of £10,000 PER treatment, she would have to have a minimum of 4 treatments to know if it will work, possibly more which is why this fundraising page has been set up to help her get the treatment
