We want to be clear — we support solar energy. We believe in renewable power and a sustainable future. But this project, in this location, at this scale, is wrong for Falmouth. It would replace a thriving public golf course — one that welcomed over 30,000 rounds this year — with a 90-acre industrial complex in Hatchville, an area already lined with solar fields. That’s not clean progress — that’s overburdening one neighborhood and erasing 98 years of recreation, open space, and stewardship of Coonemessett Pond.
