Hi, I'm Lauren, founder of LC & Friends.

I'm raising funds to support Detroit's homeless and forgotten animals and the dedicated rescuers who work tirelessly to save them.

Rouge Park has become one of the most heartbreaking places for abandoned animals. Countless stray, injured, sick, and neglected cats and dogs are left to survive on their own. Many never receive the help they desperately need.

Despite working full-time jobs, compassionate volunteers spend their evenings and weekends rescuing animals, trapping community cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), feeding colonies, helping outdoor animals, providing emergency care, and finding loving forever homes.

Every donation will go directly toward helping Detroit animals and supporting trusted local outreach efforts and independent rescuers where the need is greatest.
