Although we’ve spent the last few days trying to find a way to say goodbye, words still escape us.

During the more than 12 years that D’Apple Cafe has been opening its doors to the residents of Coral Springs and Parkland, we have celebrated many wondrous milestones and witnessed tragedy beyond compare.

And although we wish things were different, we’ve been forced to face the reality of our circumstances and it is not financially possible for us to do all the things necessary to keep our customers and our family safe under the current conditions.

Guidelines for Broward County would require us to conduct business at 50% capacity while still paying 100% of our utilities and fees. Adding the costs of sneeze guards, disposable menus, plates and utensils, gloves and masks for all our employees, disinfectants, sanitizers and all the other precautionary measures that need to be in place to ensure safety, and it’s just not sustainable for a small business like ours and we are left with no other choice.

We can’t thank you enough for supporting us over the years and letting us into your lives. We will miss you every day and hope that life brings you all you dream of.

D'Apple Cafe has been a staple in the Coral Springs community since 2008.  Owned and operated by the amazing Kendall family.  The past year has been incredibly difficult, first after losing their beloved father/husband Carl and now with current pandemic, they are fighting to keep their doors open.  
Every day, their regulars are in their seats.  They know their customers by name.  They are kind, caring and a wonderful family that deserves to keep their business open.  Even with delivery and curb-side service - they are not making ends meet.
