Help save Christmas on Lake street in Abington!

Over the last 40 years, the Leines family has made over 150 wooden characters for all to enjoy each holiday season.  Scott Leines really  wanted to spread some extra cheer this year so he made 21 new characters to add to his display. 

On 11/22, late Saturday night, 2 Christmas characters were stolen from his yard on Lake st. in Abington - Snoopy & Woody. The two thieves took the characters,  ran to a car that was waiting for them, jumped in, and took off.   Scott remade Woody that week. 

The next week, again on a Saturday, 11/29, the same kids came back to the yard very late at night, took 3 more characters- c3po, Storm Trooper, and Sponge Bob, ran back to the same car, hopped in and took off. 

It is so disappointing that people would do this, especially after the difficult year we have all had. These characters have so much sentimental value to the family.

We hope you consider donating to this fund.  Half of the proceeds will go to anyone who knows who may have taken these characters and where they may be located.  The other half of the proceeds will be donated to the Abington is Lit tour which will help someone local whose spirits may need some extra lifting this year.
