Our sweet Charlie is fighting for his life, and we’re asking for help for someone who would never ask for herself.

My sister, Allison Sutterfield, is the most giving person you could ever meet. She is always the first to show up for her family and friends, always willing to help others without expecting anything in return. Now, she needs us.

Her beloved cat, Charlie, has become critically ill. Over the past several weeks, Charlie has been rapidly losing weight and refusing to eat. Allison has taken him to the vet multiple times, doing everything she can to get answers and help him recover, already spending hundreds of dollars trying to save him.

Today, Charlie’s condition worsened significantly during a follow-up visit for an ultrasound. Repeat bloodwork showed that his hemoglobin levels were dangerously abnormal, and he was immediately admitted for emergency treatment.

At this time, veterinarians believe Charlie may be battling either lymphoma or Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). He is currently undergoing testing and treatment as the veterinary team works to stabilize him and determine the best path forward.

As a single cat mom, Allison is facing an overwhelming and unexpected financial burden while trying to save her best friend.
