BlackWolf Links has been a part of our community for over 100 years, originally built in the early 1920s as a country club for US Coal and Coke. For decades, it has provided a place for people to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors. Before I took over, an 83-year-old gentleman dedicated himself to keeping the course running, and I’ve tried to carry on that tradition for everyone who loves this special place.
Right now, we’re facing a serious challenge. The greens mower, which is essential for keeping the course playable, has been patched and repaired countless times. I’m worried that it’s about to reach the point where it can’t be fixed anymore. If that happens, we won’t be able to mow the greens, and the quality of play would suffer. That would be a huge loss for our small community, where there are already so few places left for people to enjoy.
A new greens mower and equipment would mean everything to BlackWolf Links. It would keep the course open and in good condition, so our players don’t have to travel an hour and pay double the price just to play golf. I love this course and our community, and I’m doing everything I can to take care of it. If you’re able to help, your support would mean the world to all of us who call this place home.
