Help the Historic Elmore Store
Tax deductible
The Elmore Store has been the heart of Elmore, Vermont for generations — a gathering place, a lifeline, and a cherished piece of our town’s history. The Elmore Community Trust was founded as a nonprofit vehicle to purchase and upgrade the historic Elmore Store building. When its future was uncertain, a dedicated group of new operators stepped in, putting up their own money to begin the massive work of restoring and reopening this beloved landmark.
Today, we’re asking for your help to finish the job.
Why We Need Your Support:
The new operators have already invested heavily — both financially and emotionally — to make the Elmore Store thrive again. With major structural and operational renovations already underway, we now need to raise $500,000 to reimburse these community-minded individuals and help bring the project to completion.
Your donation will go directly toward:
- Reimbursing out-of-pocket renovation costs
- Supporting final upgrades and equipment purchases
- Ensuring the store is financially sustainable for years to come
This isn’t just about saving a building — it’s about preserving the soul of Elmore.
The store is more than a business. It’s where neighbors meet, where kids get their first taste of independence, and where the community comes together. With your help, we can reopen the doors to a stronger, more resilient Elmore Store that serves everyone.
Every dollar brings us closer to reopening. Every share helps spread the word.
Thank you for being part of this effort. We can’t do it without you.
