Help Save a Tacoma Landmark — Temple Theatre Fire Relief
On Tuesday, our neighbor caught fire.
We're Sunrise Play Café, the small business directly across the street at 204 St. Helens Ave. We watched it happen. We're not standing by.
The Temple Theatre has been part of Tacoma since 1926. Nearly 100 years of shows, weddings, school productions, metal nights, jazz nights, world premieres. E-40 and Tech N9ne played there May 1st. JINJER is booked for July. This didn't happen to a fading building. It happened to a place that was thriving.
If you've ever been to a show there, you know what it means. That walk out afterward, still buzzing. There's nowhere else in Tacoma quite like it.
Every dollar raised goes straight to the Temple Theatre team to help with recovery and rebuilding. We'll share transparent reports of everything collected and distributed. Nothing gets skimmed.
If you can't give, please share the link. It matters just as much right now.
This is our village. Let's show up for it.
