Help save a piece of Hartford City History

Our heart is breaking with every drop of rain that falls . Our store, Magic Corner, is the community hang out spot for local kids, teenagers and adults. We are located in the beautiful historic Ervin building that was built over 125 years ago. There is so much character in this old building. We have seen so many of these old buildings in our downtown be torn down due to disrepair. We hate the thought of this happening to ours. The building is in desperate need of a new roof. We are looking into grants or other programs to help obtain the funding needed for a new roof but these things take time that we don't have. Our business and other businesses in this building are in jeopardy. We are doing everything we can to help make a new roof a reality. If anyone would like to be a part of helping save a piece of our city's history and would like to make donations to help on this cause, every dollar will help. If everyone of our followers gave $5 or $10 it would give us the funds needed. We have a local roofing company lined up and ready to do the job whenever we have at least half the money needed to start the project. We appreciate all the support that our community has shown us in the nearly 2 years we have been here and we truly hope to be here many more.
