My name is Omer, and after exhausting all possible avenues for assistance, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to request your help for a close relative of mine in Pakistan who is in desperate need of life-saving open-heart surgery.

He is in his early 50s and has recently been diagnosed with a severe heart condition: two of his four heart valves are critically clogged. This condition alone is extremely dangerous, but to make matters worse, he also recently suffered a stroke, which has resulted in mild paralysis on the right side of his body.

Following the stroke, doctors conducted further assessments and concluded that open-heart surgery is urgently needed, but it cannot proceed until his paralysis is treated, as there is a high risk of coma during surgery if not addressed first. The treatment and preparation leading up to the surgery, as well as the procedure itself, are extremely expensive and must be completed as soon as possible to avoid life-threatening complications. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, the family is unable to move forward with the next stage of care.

Financial Situation:

The total estimated cost of treatment and surgery is over 2 million Pakistani rupees (approximately $10,000+ CAD).

We have already managed to collect some funds through family and close relatives. The Government of Pakistan has also approved a small amount of 400,000 rupees, but it is far from sufficient.

Unfortunately, the patient's financial condition is dire. He is currently unemployed due to his deteriorating health, and his family is struggling to stay afloat. His children are either unemployed or working minimum-wage jobs, doing their best to make ends meet under extremely difficult circumstances. The family recently relocated to a different province in search of better opportunities, which has only added to their financial burden.

Despite all efforts, we are still short of the amount needed. That is why I am turning to you, friends, family, and compassionate strangers for support. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us cover these urgent medical costs and bring hope to a family in distress.
