Hi everyone - my name is Katie and I am one of the owners of Soak Creek Farm, Pastures & Stables. I post and share this fundraiser as a way to aid and assist one of our very own.

A close member of our barn family has fallen on the toughest of times. Without providing too many personal details, I will share that this individual has been a rock at our facility for several years. A person who is always willing to give you the shirt of their back and continue with less. A person who you can call on when you’re in need and know that they will drop whatever they are doing in an effort to assist you. Selfless, reliable and caring.

This individual has had a hard go at life this past year losing close family and running into tougher than normal times. She is now having to consider selling her beloved horse in an attempt to gain footing.

Sometimes our pets are the constant we need in life. When people aren’t so kind - our animals are always there to greet us with love.

I would NEVER want anyone to experience hardship and then have to suffer the heartbreak of losing their best friend.

My goal is to raise enough funding through donations that we can effectively save one of our own. The horse world is a small one - but we are mighty. Let’s help a fellow friend and give hope to others that when you’re good to people, God ensures good will return to you.

ANY donation amount is helpful. We, as a community can help pull someone out of a dark situation and be the light!
