Hello colleagues and supporters of Mozia Professional Business Centre, it has been a challenging period with all the set backs and Covid19 measures, but we are not throwing in the towels and we are pressing forward and extending the campaign until we reach our target goal.  We are urgently requesting your support, by joining hands with Mozia Professional Business Centre because we need your URGENT support, we have so much to offer the community in our space. We need to raise $40,000 can we count on you?

I am Faith Greaves, founder of Mozia Professional Business Centre Inc. and Mozia Women's Network Society.  We envisioned and acquired a 10000 square feet space for community development.  Our space was finally secured and approved after receiving five refusals and Mozia Professional Business Centre Inc.  was established in October 2020 as a co-shared space for the community to collaborate, connect meet and to make things happen in both the For Profit and Non Profit sectors in the Etobicoke and its surround region at 10 Belfield Road, 2nd floor.

The space accommodates:

Training Rooms
Boardroom
Furnished Offices (rental)
Hot Desks
P.O. Boxes
Media/Green Room
Comfortable Lounge area
Beautiful Kitchen area
Convertible conference space that can be used for events e.g. Wedding, Gala, anniversary etc.

The space also house our Non Profit, Mozia Women's Network Society, prior operated in Calgary, Alberta we focus on women, children, youth, seniors and families.

We operate a food bank, Mozia's Pantry and we assist over 100 family's weekly with a focus on our most vulnerable, our seniors who are shut ins and unable to access food due to a number of factors.

The space was ready for business on January 5, 2021, but the country's and province's were under a strict lock down from January 2021 until June 2021, and we faced a challenge of our elevator system being broken from May 2021 to November 2021.

Nevertheless, with the set backs we had the opportunity to host a few activities which included but not limited to, hosting the Somalia Ambassador, Grade 12 Graduation, memorial for Haitian President Jovenel Moise, Comedy Show, memorial for community leader, an AGM for the African Council, baby shower, youth award show, Rastafest prerecorded event, gala, community business vendors market, venue documentary film and others.

Our students are impacted as well.  We have two dedicated teachers who supports the after school tutoring program for students in grade 3 through grade 10 in both English and Math on Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. from the community.  Our students needs support; they are displaced with their routine, and we are not sure what will happen for 2022.

Our seniors are impacted, by our programs and more so our food bank,  Mozia's Pantry supports members of the community and it surrounds.  They need this support; when they don't see us  for drop off they call to query if we are coming.  We need to provide this support to our diverse clients.

This space is needed by the community for the community.  It offers the community the opportunity to connect and make great collaborations both in the Non Profit and for Profit sectors; it gives hope to the residence a place of belonging in a space that represence everyone in the community.

The elevators are working now and we have been shut out of our space. We are trying to raise funds; the space was created and developed  for the community to thrive, collaborate and make great things happen.   We need help to sustain the Centre; we are just getting started, the space is fully establish for businesses, services and progress.  There are people waiting to access the space to do their projects.  We need your help and support please share our story.

We look forward to your support, please visit our website at Moziaprofessionalbusinesscentreinc.com

We need the space for our community, we need help, we have been stripped by Covid19 and it has crippled our center and operational revenue.  This is our written verbal cry for support.

We look forward to your support in keeping our centre open.
