Hello! My name is Saulya Aidarova.
This is the second fundraising campaign that our family has been forced to organize. This decision was very difficult for me, because for the second time in one year I had to start a fundraiser to help my Mom.
For those who haven't heard, I would like to tell our story again. Last October, after surgery on her neck and removal of a tumor, my Mom was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma of the salivary gland, stage two. My Mom underwent a course of radiation therapy in Kazakhstan, and in February of this year, I brought her here to Houston, USA (where I live) for further examination and treatment. The diagnosis was confirmed, she received all the necessary treatment, and the latest PET-CT scans we did in Houston were clear. The oncologists assured me that the cancer would not spread below or above the neck. At the end of the summer, after full treatment and remission, my Mom returned to Kazakhstan.
In November of this year, during a follow-up comprehensive examination and PET CT scan of my Mom’s entire body, suspicious small tumors were found in her lungs. It was decided to perform a biopsy and send the sample for histology, where lung cancer was diagnosed. The metastases had spread further into the lungs. Further surgical intervention is impossible, as in this case, with simple words, all of my Mom’s tumors are scattered throughout both lungs. This is an even more complex case.
Soon I will be flying to Kazakhstan to fully control the treatment process, help, be by her side, and then take my Mom abroad for further treatment. In this case, to Korea. I have sent all of my Mom’s test results there, and they are ready to take on her treatment. However, the cost is very high, considering all the payments that have already been made this year here in the USA.
I want to thank all the dear people who extended a helping hand to us the first time. There were so many of you. If you are reading this post now, please know that I remember each and every one of you and will be eternally grateful. At this moment, however difficult it is for me, I am forced to ask for help again, simply because I need to help my Mom… We are in great sorrow and grief. Seeing my Mom in her current condition is terrible, very difficult.
I will attach the response from the Korean clinic with all the amounts and estimated expenses that await us.
May God forbid anyone to experience what I have had to endure. These funds will allow us to concentrate fully on her care and treatment , rather than the growing financial burden. Any contribution, no matter the amount, truly helps and brings us one step closer to reaching our goal . We kindly ask you to consider donating and sharing this page with others. Your kindness, prayers, support , mean everything to our family as we stand together for our mom. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts.
