Help My Family Rebuild After Apartment Fire

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a very heavy heart. My mom and siblings lost everything in a devastating fire that completely destroyed their apartment complex in Riverridge on July 18th. The fire started on the second floor and burned for hours before it was finally put out. By then, everything they owned was gone. The roof caved in, the apartment is flooded...

The apartment complex is "a total loss".

Thankfully everyone is okay.

Clothes, shoes, important documents, baby stuff, necessities, money — all of it. Things they worked so hard for… just gone in an instant.

On top of that one of my sisters is pregnant & due this month & a lot of baby stuff that was given to her is gone....boxes of diapers, cribs, etc.

Right now, the Red Cross has placed them in a temporary hotel, but it's only for a week or so and the conditions aren’t ideal

(but very thankful).

They’re trying to stay strong, but the road ahead is overwhelming — from finding a new place to live (quickly) to replacing all the basics.

I’m creating this fundraiser to help them start over.

Every donation, every single dollar no matter how small, will go directly toward helping them find a new home, covering first month’s rent, new furniture, bills, clothing, essential items, etc....
