Hello! After seeing the recent atrocities happening to children in Gaza, we, as Arab American educators, decided we wanted to help in some way. Sarah Haidar and Yara Elzayat are having this fundraiser to help create an Arab Outreach Festival in Charlotte, NC. This event has 2 goals: to help the local and surrounding community learn more about Arab culture in a fun space and to raise money for Palestinian Children's Relief Fund. The event will be free entry and have Middle Eastern food, bake sale, henna tables, kid activities, a "Bazaar" flea market, and more.

We are asking for donations to help make this event as successful as possible and reach as much of the community as we can. We believe this family-friendly festival could begin creating a more positive narrative surrounding the word "Arab" and help some children along the way.

The money donated will be used for the following:

• buying art & craft supplies for a kids booth
• buying henna for henna tables
• renting tents in case of rain or hot weather
• ink and printing for advertisement
• paying local singers/dancers to come to the event
• sanitation equipment for volunteers (sanitizer, wipes, masks, trash bags)
• renting an inflatable moon bounce for kids
• buying or renting supplies to make Middle Eastern backdrops and a mini "exhibit" to showcase the culture

** Any money donated that is not used to create the event will be donated to PCRF Charlotte chapter directly along with the funds raised at the event.
