My name is Sarah, and I am reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. I am currently homeless with my three children after being told by DFS that we cannot live with my grandmother due to an abusive situation. I am doing everything I can to keep my family together, but DFS has made it clear that if I cannot find somewhere safe for us to stay, they will take my children away. I have no money for a hotel room, and every day is a struggle to find a safe place for us to sleep.
