I’m Sarah, and I’m asking for help for my household as we go through a very difficult time. Right now, I am unable to work because I am my elderly mother’s full-time caregiver. She has severe Crohn’s disease, suffered a massive stroke, and has lost most of her vision, so it is very hard and unsafe for me to leave her alone. At the same time, I also have to walk my child to school every morning because we do not have a car. My husband recently lost his job after a severe medical emergency and is not able to work right now, so our family is facing an ongoing loss of income while our caregiving needs continue every day.
