Hi! My name is Nhuy & I’m creating this fund to help my dear friend Sarah. Sarah is in the middle of a difficult legal battle to keep custody of her 10-year-old son, Luke. Luke has always lived primarily with his mom, in the home and routine he knows best. She has been the one getting him to school, helping with homework, cooking meals, and making sure he’s cared for every day.

Recently, Luke’s father filed for full custody and is actively trying to remove her rights as the custodial parent. If the court grants it, Luke’s daily life would change dramatically, and Sarah’s time with her son would be cut down to only a small portion of what it is now.

Anyone who knows Sarah knows Luke is her greatest answered prayer and she treasures being his mother. To protect her ability to raise her son, Sarah needs strong legal representation, but custody cases are expensive, and attorney fees add up quickly. She’s doing everything she can, but this is a fight she can’t afford to take on alone.

We’re asking for help to raise enough money so Sarah can hire the attorney she needs to present her case and fight for what’s best for Luke. Every dollar raised will go directly toward legal fees.
