Help Sarah have the holiday she deserves!

Hi, I would like to tell you about my amazing, strong sister Sarah....

In November 2021, my dear sister Sarah was diagnosed with DCIS and HER2 stage 3 breast cancer. She started her gruelling chemotherapy for this horrible disease for 6 months in December 21. Sarah has coped so incredibly well and has been in fight mode ever since. She suffered a lot of pain after every chemo session. The sickness, excruciating bone pain, sore mouth, sore throat, nose bleeds and she lost all of her hair. Even going through all this pain and terrible discomfort, she has kept so positive and strong throughout.

After the chemotherapy finished, Sarah had surgery in June 2022 to remove the lump. Unfortunately, this horrible disease hadn't gone as well as they hoped and she was then told that another 9 months of chemotherapy, Kadcyla, was needed to treat the HER2 type of cancer. This is the naughty aggressive cancer. She started this in June '22, and her last session is due to end in March this year. She is due to have more surgery in the coming months.

Sarah has really been through it the last year or so. She's had to put up with pain, the worry and stress that comes with going through this, but she has remained so strong and so positive throughout and deserves a medal for what she has had to go through, and still going through.

I would love for Sarah to take herself and family away for a well deserved holiday when all this is over. She really does deserve it. This will give her something to look forward too after the most hellish year of her life.
