Hi, my name is Sara, and I’m a mom doing everything I can to be close to her daughter.
My four-year-old daughter, Ivy, lives in Tennessee, while I currently live in Colorado. For more than a year, I barely got to see her—less than 24 hours total. While the courts are now involved and I have parenting time, the distance keeps me from being the consistent presence she deserves.
I don’t want to be a parent who only shows up during scheduled visits or holidays. I want to be there for everyday moments—for routines, school days, hard days, and healing. To do that, I need to relocate to Tennessee, and right now, I don’t have the financial ability to make that move on my own.
Between custody-related expenses and basic survival costs, saving enough to relocate has felt impossible. I’m asking for help so I can give my daughter what she needs most: a parent who is close, stable, and present.
Donations will be used for:
• Moving and transportation costs
• Housing deposits and initial living expenses
• Basic needs to re-establish stability near my daughter
This is not easy to ask, but I’m doing it because my daughter is worth it. Any support—whether donating or sharing—means the world to us.
With deep gratitude,
Sara Vasata
