For 28 years, my family has been my world — they came first, always. In 2022, everything changed. I was diagnosed with cancer and suffered a spinal cord injury. Overnight, my ability to work and provide for my children shifted, and life as I knew it was rewritten.

As my health declined, it became clear that I also needed to end my 25-year marriage to protect myself and my kids. Healing often requires breaking long-standing cycles — even when it breaks your heart to do it.

Divorce is never easy, and in a high-conflict situation, it becomes overwhelming. Legal fees are mounting quickly. It will take $25,000 just to stabilize the current legal costs, and another $25,000 to continue forward and secure a safe, healthy future for my family.

I’m fighting for my health, my peace, and the chance to rebuild a life where my kids and I can thrive. I am working hard and doing everything I can to stay afloat, but I cannot do this alone.

So instead of birthday gifts or Christmas presents this year… I’m asking for help.
