Sometimes life asks us to drop everything and show up for the people we love. Right now, that’s exactly what Sara is doing.

Sara’s little sister Vanessa has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive blood cancer, and she’s beginning an intensive treatment journey in Milwaukee, WI. As many of you know, Sara has always been the one to quietly help others; now she’s the one who needs a little help.

To be by her sister’s side through treatment, Sara is taking extended leaves from her work. She’ll be traveling between Duluth and Milwaukee and providing daily care, emotional support, and stability in a very uncertain time.
