UPDATE:
Talk about prayer helping......
Just found out that Sara's insurance is paying $5000. Which is a blessing for the furnace. They also estimated her loss was around $23,000.00.
So we reduced the goal and also hoping that the funding from government will get the other large ticket item. Like the washer and dryer and water heater. (water heater now working after ROman electric came out to replace parts, which is working now BUT they said the insulation around the tank is probably molding.)
Again help is always appreciated. And we love prayers!

I am Carolyn Czysz, Sara's Aunt and Nathan's Great Aunt.
Sara and Nathan Czysz have been pretty much on their own since they lost Eric, Sara's husband and Nathan's dad, many years ago. Nathan is now 15 and lives with autism. A teenage boy growing up in a house with only a mother is a challenge by itself, but more stress is added when a young man is trying to fit into a typical school and life. Life nowadays is not very typical for even us typicals. Plus, the fact - some teenagers can be brutal!
This past August 10, the storm that hit West Allis in the Milwaukee area hurt Sara and Nathan HORRIBLY! They had 3 feet of water in their basement. So many things were destroyed; the worst part is that Nathan's bedroom was in the basement. On top of it all, in April, Sara was hit with major changes in her finances that included: a new roof needed, a new water heater, city property tax raise, and a decrease in her income to boot. So when the flood hit, Sara is now in a place of needing help, with now more financial burden that insurance is not going to cover. Plus, there is no real help coming from any government or rescue agencies as of yet. And you know the government - funds are not going to cover all loss. Here is a list of urgent needs:
Hot water furnace $1500.00
Furnace $5000
Washer/Dryer $300
Nathan's books $500
Nathan's box spring $100
Drywall, paint $100
Misc. How can you put a value on pictures lost and other sentimental items, Nathan's books and such?
Other things already have been given praise to God, like a new mattress, used dresser, to name a few items needed to be replaced. Sara's father is also helping with rebuilding Nathan's room. Most bedding, clothing, and some furniture were able to be washed carefully, due to mainly water filling the basement.
My biggest concern is Sara's furnace being replaced before winter!
Every little bit helps, and if a donation of funds is not doable, please pray for this situation to resolve itself for their comfort and safety. This is super hard for Nathan to fully understand, and on top of it all, he is going to a new school this fall.
