Hi, my name is Konark Vinod, and I am fundraising for my brother Aleksandre Kokochashvili. For all intents and purposes, he is my brother, albeit from a different mother. He is an international student from the country of Georgia who came to the US for a better education and to follow his dream of becoming a professional baller. He has been living with our family since December 2020, before the start of my final semester of high school and his second semester of junior year. Since then, he has acclimated extremely well to life in the US, going on to become captain of our high school's varsity basketball team and playing in tournaments all around the Western United States as part of the West Coast Elite AAU team. Sandro's big aspirations, however, have been hindered by the COVID pandemic as well as the fact that US universities are reluctant to give international students financial aid, which he desperately needs in order to continue his education here.
