Yesterday I was in Walmart and asked a stranger if they’d help buy me food because I hadn’t eaten all day. I met an amazing lady, named Sandra and she helped me without hesitation. I then revealed it was for her. When she looked into the cereal box and saw it had $1,000 in it, she immediately burst into tears.

Sandra told me that she recently went into remission with leukemia and is waiting for a bone marrow transplant. Her husband drives her to USC for chemotherapy often and their savings have all been used for hospital costs. She said every day, she wakes up and all she wants is to live one more day for her two daughters.
