Sandra is my 74-year-old mother-in-law who recently lost the love of her life and best friend, Don, after 26 years together. After his passing, she found herself unable to stay in the home where he died in her arms after a hard fought, courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, small cell lung cancer and squamous cell lung cancer. She also has her own health issues and will eventually be unable to stay alone. Although she receives a small retirement, most of her income goes toward her medication, leaving her unable to afford to rent a safe place within close distance to her family. Right now, Sandra is sleeping on her daughter's couch looking at Don's picture and crying herself to sleep every night. Although and we are doing everything we can to support her during this difficult time.

Our family wants to build Sandra a tiny home on our land so she can have a safe, comfortable place to call her own. She has always given so much of herself to others, and we want to make sure she feels secure and supported as she navigates this new chapter. The funds raised will go directly toward building her a home, covering materials, labor, and any essentials she needs to get settled.
