We are so pleased to announce that Samson Burch is coming home after spending 44 years in prison. Samson has been working with the Parole Preparation Project for two years to prepare for his hearing before the parole board, and are overjoyed that he was granted his freedom. He has agreed to let us start a Gofundme for him to help him get on his feet after that immense amount of time behind bars.

Samson is a born and bred New Yorker. He grew up in Washington Heights and remembers with amazing detail the rowdy streets of his youth. He is a drummer, a storyteller, and Chappell Roan fan.

Because of his decades-long time in prison, Samson needs support for his transition back into a world that has changed a lot since he went in. We are working on finding him appropriate housing currently - and he will be able to access social services eventually - but he will need some initial funds to support his basic needs when he is released.
