Help Sammy's Mom Fight Cancer and Injustice

Heyy, My name is Sammy! I am starting this fund raiser to get my mom back and complete our little family again. In my youth the system kept us apart and I was raised in foster care, finally at 18 we were able to bond. Bond we did she became my whole world but not just to me- I was able to see how involved in the community she is, the way people loved her and came to her for anything. She was a voice of reason, a provider of food and shelter, a contributor of laughter and fun. She gave a sense of belonging to all of us. Her home always open to friends family and strangers who would soon no longer be strangers. Right now she is fighting for not only her freedom but her life as well. She was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer and given a year to live if we didn’t pursue treatment- that same day she was ambushed and wrongfully charged. They have held her under a $1 million bond. I have fought through this battle alone on the outside as she has on the inside. They have not treated her cancer and she’s depleting. Not only this but federal agents have decided to take her case. I need to raise $5,000 as a first payment for the only lawyer in this town with hope and ambitions of getting her freedom back as well as her health. The system may believe nobody cares about her but I do! I need her, we are all we have- her and I. I am asking everyone to please look into your hearts and give only what you can, even if that’s .20 cents or $20. My family and I are forever grateful! At this time I have less than a month to hire this lawyer before it’s too late I will never get to hug my mother again and tell her how sorry I am for all the time wasted and lost or all the times I didn’t chose to spend time with her. I love her so dearly and I thought our community did as well, I know it does. The very second the goal is reached I can go immediately to the federal lawyers office deliver the payment and from there it’s go time- I know I will see momma again if we can achieve this goal together. I know in my heart she will personally reach out to each and everyone of you even those who are struggling too much to donate. She misses us. I am eager to see the warmth and light of her presence again I am ready to see the house full of our friends that have come to join us for her delicious home cooked meals. I’ll never complain about washing those dishes ever again- to think I took her for granted pains me deeply. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and support the cause.
