Hello I am Sami.

We were forced to move from one place to another, carrying with us only a few belongings — and a heavy burden of fear and sadness.

My father, who had always been our pillar of strength, now suffered in silence, watching his family scattered before his eyes.

My mother, who battles a chronic thyroid illness, grew weaker each day without access to the treatment she desperately needs.

My young children, once full of laughter and energy, now shiver through the nights, seeking a corner to shield them from the cold and the dark.

I look at the faces of those I love and swallow my tears, trying to hide my pain so I don't deepen theirs.

Despite everything, I hold tightly to hope. I believe that after every long night, a new dawn must come. And I will keep fighting with every breath in me to save my family and restore the life they deserve.
