I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend of forty years, Samara. She's been going through a tough time and could use our help. Many of you know and love her. She is among the kindest, most generous, and loving people I know.

Not only is she a wonderful friend, but in her career, Samara has spent years working on behalf of artists—advocating for and supporting them in developing their writing and securing productions so that their voices and experiences can be realized and shared. She has devoted herself to this with love and joy.

Unfortunately, the past year and a half has been particularly challenging for Samara. She has been dealing with a difficult divorce that has not only taken an emotional toll but also a significant financial one. The loss of her job after moving to New York City has made it even more difficult for her to make ends meet, especially as she has been focused on caring for her struggling daughter. However, her dedication and support have helped her daughter, who is now doing well.

Despite actively looking for work, Samara has been unable to find a stable job due to her responsibilities as a mother and the tough job market. I am incredibly proud of everything she has done, and by coming together, we can help her through this tough time. Samara has constantly put others before herself and now needs our support. Your contribution can make a HUGE difference in her life.

Despite the challenges, Samara's daughter is doing well, and Samara is working hard through freelance opportunities and job interviews. I am confident that she will overcome these obstacles and emerge stronger than before. I hope to raise $5,000 to assist Samara with her immediate needs. Samara does not want to ask for help and feels a lot of self-blame for her situation, so as her friend, I am asking for your support.
