Meet Samah Alostaz, a mother of four children living through unimaginable horrors in Gaza. Her husband, Mohamed, and their children — Iman (15), Minna (13), Zeyad (10), and Zainab (7) — are fighting every single day just to stay alive.
Their life was once filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future. But all of that was shattered.
Since the war began nearly 2 years ago, they have been forced to flee two different homes, bombed and destroyed by relentless airstrikes. Now, they are living in the ruins of a shattered house, where 2 of the main pillars have collapsed, the walls are crumbling, and the entire structure can collapse at any moment. There is no electricity, no clean water, no food, no safety, and no way out.
They are trying to survive in what can only be described as a nightmare — a live-streamed genocide. Gaza is under siege. Basic necessities like food, water, and medicine have disappeared. There is no way for them to care for their children the way any parent should be able to. Every day is a fight against hunger, illness, and fear.
Mohamed, the father, suffers from severe back problems that have worsened due to the brutal conditions. He is forced to carry heavy containers of water across long distances because there is no access to clean water nearby. His body is failing him. On top of this, he has a serious thyroid gland condition that causes dizziness, exhaustion, and weakness — a condition that requires daily medication, which he can almost never find in besieged Gaza.
Samah, the mother, is heartbroken and exhausted. She watches her children grow thinner and weaker with each passing day. The kids often go to sleep hungry, trembling from cold or fear, and wake up to the sound of drones or bombs. There are no safe schools, no playgrounds, no medical help — just survival.
They have nothing left. Nothing.
Their story is not unique in Gaza — but it is urgent.
We are raising funds to help Samah and her family get basic essentials: food, clean water, medication for Mohamed, clothing for the children, and help to repair the little that remains of their home — if it can even be saved.
Every dollar can help them hold on. Every donation gives them a small chance to breathe.
Please, if you can, open your heart and help Samah, Mohamed, Iman, Minna, Zeyad, and Zainab. This is not just about charity — it is about saving lives.
Gaza is being erased. But we cannot erase our humanity.
Help this family survive. Help them find hope. Help them live.
