Help Sam Recover After a Devastating Scam
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Samantha Swinamer (Sam), who recently fell victim to a terrifying scam that left her completely drained of her savings.
A scammer, posing as a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) officer, called her and falsely claimed that she had missed jury duty and owed money. Under extreme pressure and threats of arrest, she was instructed to withdraw all of her money in cash and deposit it into a Bitcoin ATM to "pay off the warrant." The entire ordeal was a cruel fraud, and by the time she realized what had happened, her bank account was at $0.
This scam has left Sam in a devastating financial position—she is now struggling to cover basic expenses like rent, groceries, and bills. She has reported the crime to the authorities, but unfortunately, cryptocurrency transactions are extremely difficult to recover.
I am setting up this GoFundMe to help her get back on her feet after this heartbreaking experience. If you can donate—even just a few dollars—it would make a world of difference in helping her recover and regain stability.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign to spread awareness. These scams are becoming more common, and no one deserves to go through what she has experienced.
Thank you all for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With gratitude,
