Support Sam’s Brave Fight Against Brain Cancer
Hi my name is Trudie and i am doing this fundraiser is for my dear Sister-in-Law Sam—a fiercely loving, kind and resilient woman who is now facing the hardest battle of her life, all while continuing to show extraordinary strength, grace and courage.
Sam has recently been upgraded/diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive and inoperable brain cancer. Her diagnosis is terminal, and yet, in true Sam fashion her focus remains on the people she loves most—her family.
Sam is the devoted mum to three amazing boys: Mason, Kiefer and Lawson. She has dedicated her life to building a home filled with love, stability and care. She has also stood firmly by her husband, who was recently medically retired from the Army, supporting him through every challenge without hesitation.
No child should ever have to face the loss of their mum at such a young age. Mason, Kiefer, and Lawson are still growing, learning, and building their place in the world—and they need their mum. The thought of them having to navigate life without her is heartbreaking. That’s why every moment together now is precious beyond words.
Before this devastating diagnosis, both Sam and her husband Chris were working hard to rebuild their lives. After years of service and Chris’s recent medical retirement from the Army, they had each taken the leap to start their own small businesses — pouring in their time, energy, and hope to create a better future for their boys. They were finally beginning to find their feet after so much uncertainty.
But now, everything has changed.
Since Sam’s diagnosis, those dreams have been forced to stop in their tracks. Chris has had to put his business on hold to be come Sam’s full-time carer — juggling hospital visits, medication schedules and the overwhelming emotional toll of watching the woman he loves face the unimaginable. On top of that, he’s doing everything he can to hold things together at home for their three sons, who are trying to make sense of a reality no child should have to face.
The weight is heavy. The financial pressure is growing. And they simply can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’re asking for your support.
I know Sam would never ask for anything herself, so I’m doing it for her — with the hope that we can ease some of the pressure on this incredible family. Every donation—no matter how big or small—will help give them the space to focus on what truly matters now: time, love and making memories together.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with Sam and her family during this unimaginably difficult time. Your kindness means more than you know.
