Help Sam go to Bolivia to help build needed bridge

Donation protected
Around the globe, there are numerous isolated and underserved communities who are victims to the impacts of the rainy season and consequential flooding. During this season, these communities often find themselves with no safe and permanent method of crossing local rivers and can be cut off from essential resources and facilities for weeks at a time. The town of Guayabitos, Bolivia is no different. This community resides along the Pojo River in the Andes Mountains and is 8 hours from the nearest city center. Much like many other communities, Guayabitos can be cut off from medical clinics, schools, and markets for months at a time when the river floods. Over the past three years, the community of Guayabitos has suffered 12 injuries and 2 deaths related to river crossings and will continue to occur without the assistance of experienced industry experts.
I'm Sam Quick, a civil engineer student at Stevens institute of Technology and I'm looking for any support to help myself travel to this community and assist in the construction of a life-changing bridge for the community of Guayabitos.
For just $50 you can help a child get to school, a pregnant mother reach the health clinic, or a hardworking father sell his crops at the market. Can't hit $50? Give what you can and invite your friends to help you reach that $50 together! Every donation helps!
