Hello all, my name is Samantha Taylor, I’m a 31 year old single mom of three beautiful children (11, 7, and 5 months). I had my last child in December of 2020. During my c-section I got my tubes removed. One week later I got a call from my gynecologist that the pathology reports came back showing cancer in both tubes. I was officially diagnosed with stage 2c Fallopian tube cancer. Three months after my c-section I had a full hysterectomy. Five days later I was rushed to the hospital with excruciating abdominal pain, high fever and chills. After 20 hours of tests/scans, the medical team decided it would be best to do surgery again to figure out what was causing my symptoms. The surgeon found adhesions obstructing my colon, infected fluids and an inflamed appendix. Four weeks after my third surgery it was time to begin chemotherapy treatments. Going through postpartum depression, menopause, and chemotherapy all at once is a whirlwind and has been tough on my body, to say the least.

Not only am I dealing with medical issues, but my kids have been in and out of medical offices as well. My 11 year old son is an avid athlete and when he was 8 years old he tore his ACL and meniscus during his first ever football game. He hung up the cleats and has been sticking with basketball since. Recently his knee has been giving him issues and we will soon be finding out if his MRI results will require him to need surgery. 

At the moment I am now having to find a new place to live and uproot my children which adds onto my expenses. Medical bills, prescriptions, living expenses, moving expenses, and the basic costs of taking care of three children, including a baby is piling up and I am falling behind on everything. Any little bit of help would be greatly appreciated by me and my children. I know times are tough for everyone right now but I do believe God will provide for us. He has never let us down before.
