Well… Nichole and I are incredibly independent and prideful women who have always had a hard time asking for help. From a young age, we've both worked hard for everything we have, but right now, Nichole and I could really use a little support.

If you know me, you know my heart has always belonged to animals. A while back, I fell in love with a stray cat who lived in our crawl space. Salem and I formed a bond. He trusted me, and I promised to take care of him. Even after we moved to Quincy, I kept going back to feed him with plans to bring him home.

Unfortunately, something traumatic happened, and Salem badly dislocated his shoulder. The vet says it’s likely to keep dislocating, and the best option for his comfort and long-term health is amputation. His surgery is scheduled for Friday, and the cost is estimated to be several thousand dollars.
