<div>Well… Nichole and I are incredibly independent and prideful women who have always had a hard time asking for help. From a young age, we've both worked hard for everything we have, but right now, Nichole and I could really use a little support.

<div>If you know me, you know my heart has always belonged to animals. A while back, I fell in love with a stray cat who lived in our crawl space. Salem and I formed a bond. He trusted me, and I promised to take care of him. Even after we moved to Quincy, I kept going back to feed him with plans to bring him home.
</div>

</div>
<div>Unfortunately, something traumatic happened, and Salem badly dislocated his shoulder. The vet says it’s likely to keep dislocating, and the best option for his comfort and long-term health is amputation. His surgery is scheduled for Friday, and the cost is estimated to be several thousand dollars. 
</div>

</div>
