Imagine me as a mother who suddenly found herself losing the city in which she lived and losing any hope for a better future with it. A week ago, my daughter Zeina began her first grade school trip, but the war had another idea

At the beginning of the war, we were living in our house, which is located in the northern Gaza Strip, then the fighting intensified, so we had to flee to the house of our relatives in the middle of the Gaza Strip, and during the displacement, the civilians from which we are were bombed, and we miraculously survived, thank God, and we continued to walk for about 4 hours while we were raising hands without water or food until we reached the city of Bureij and we stayed in an UNRWA school, which is a place unfit for human use،

We stayed there for almost a month and we had a lot of difficulty getting water and food that wasn't fit for human use But we were in a struggle for survival, then the school where we were staying was bombed, and we were forced to flee again to the city of Rafah on the Egyptian border, and now we live in the tent that can barely accommodate five people, and we are more than twenty people, and we have lived difficult days for more than 110 days, every minute of which is equivalent to a year of torment, panic and fear.

The situation after almost 7 months of this genocide is that Gaza’s borders are unfortunately still closed and no one can get out of it, of course unless you pay the biggest amount of money to save your life and to cross Rafah border to get to Egypt, crossing Rafah border costs around 7000 to 9000 dollars for each person and as a family of 16 persons, the amount of money we have to pay just to get to Egypt seems impossible to afford

Unfortunately, I cannot in any language or expression describe to you the magnitude of the suffering that I live with my family and how many times we have escaped certain death, I appeal to your living consciences to help us escape from this hell that we live in all its details, and I note to you that everyone needs an amount $7,000-$9,000 per adult and $2,500 per child There are 10 adults and 6 children in my family. And I do not have even one dollar of these amounts, this sudden war has lost us all our money in addition to the loss of our house in which we were raised, knowing that I have children not exceeding ten years old and have fought a life of horrific war for the fifth time and finally I would like to thank you for reading my message and thank you for your support and help me to save my family and provide them with a safe life away from wars and death

* paying around 7000 US Dollars to every member of my 23-member family to cross Rafah border and get safely to Egypt

* covering GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + 0.30$ per transaction)

* The rest of the money will be for housing, food & etc. for a period of time in Egypt
