Help Sachiko and Scott Rebuild after Hurricane Helene

As many of you know, my mom and stepdad, Sachiko and Scott Mullikin, recently lost their home in South Carolina when it was crushed by a tree during Hurricane Helene.

Thankfully, with the help of neighbors, they were able to get out in one piece; but now they need help getting back on their feet.

They have an amazing support system and friends that have opened up their homes and even helped them get into hotel rooms when available. But we know that gets costly and won’t always be an option. My brothers and I have offered to help in any way we can, but there’s only so much we can do living in Washington state, on the opposite side of the country.

We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help them with the costs of getting into a new home and replacing their clothes and other essential belongings.
