Hey guys, as some of you may already know my sister, Sabrina, was diagnosed with Stage 4 incurable, metastatic neuroendocrine lung cancer back in February. If it wasn't for the heart attack that she endured at the beginning of January, where she coded twice, the doctors wouldn't have caught it. She has since started Chemo, which she was told by her doctor was still in it's trial phase, and it has started to work. She's had scans done and is scheduled for more at the end of April, where it'll determine whether the masses that were found have changed in size and by how much. Scans that have been done so far do show some decrease in size, but it has been a struggle to get her insurance to ok certain scans. You know, the usual runaround. Her chemo is 21 days apart, with the first three days consisting of chemo, weekend to "recover", and the following three days consisting of white blood cell replacement therapy. Her first day of chemo, alone, is almost $68k! Thankfully she does have insurance that has been taking care of most of her treatment, but there has been a new shift in matters surrounding her insurance, involving her future employment through the company that is providing her this health insurance that she so critically needs.
Just a little background story to the newer developments surrounding her insurance and employment. Since receiving her diagnosis, my sister has applied and been approved for FMLA, along with her 2 grown children that also worked for the same company. However, since the business is less than 50 employees the employer does not need to keep them through FMLA. Some small print mumbo jumbo that was overlooked until about a month into the leave. Their boss, since then, has terminated the employment of my niece and nephew and has let my sister know that her insurance will be ending at the end of the leave, unless she does come back to work. This is stress that my sister does not need to endure while she is battling for her life. She looked to her boss like family, and she thought that her boss had thought the same of her as well. Promises were made, only to either be forgotten or stripped away.
So, as her brother, I am coming here to ask for help for my sister and her family so that they don't have to struggle during an already struggling time in their lives. Your donation will help ease any financial burdens that they will endure, covering whatever costs just to live and maintain. Anything that you feel in your hearts to help them out with will be greatly appreciated. I also ask that you pray for my sister. She has been a lifesaver to me in my life and if there's something that I can do to help her during this time, it's by coming on here and asking for help in her fight. As her older brother, all I want to do is make this better for her. My sister, Sabrina Krenzelok, is one amazing woman and is a fighter. This isn't the first time that she's had to endure anything life changing. Two of my nieces, her other two daughters, were lost in a housefire 20 years ago. To see her grieve and push on through is something to be truly admired. I know she's always struggled with that loss, but she always finds a way to push on through. She's always been the type to even push through anything that she was medically going through, even going to work when most would stay at home in bed. Even for the job that she is currently at odds with, she would schedule her treatment days so that she could work in the morning and part of the early afternoon. She cares so deeply for others too. Putting herself last just to make sure that the ones she loves has a fair chance.
Just seeing her going through this cancer diagnosis hurts. So please, if you can, help. Your donations will help ease some financial burdens so that my sister and her family don't have to stress and can spend their time fighting, healing, and spending time together as a family, where every minute and moment matters. Where those moments shouldn't be peppered with any negativity that my sister does not need to endure.
So please, help by donating, sending up a prayer, and sharing my sister's story. Every donation, prayer and share will help. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reading this and in doing your part, know matter what it is, in helping my sister out.

Thanks guys,
Orville & Andrea (Sabrina's sister-in-law)
